Since 1996, the Duncan Cowichan Chamber has proudly hosted the Black Tie Awards, Cowichan's premier celebration of excellence. This prestigious event shines a spotlight on the outstanding achievements of businesses, individuals, and organizations across the Cowichan Valley Regional District, honouring their hard work and dedication.

Our foundation is the Customer Service Award, a testament to our firm belief in the power of outstanding service. Over the years, we've expanded to include nine coveted award categories, such as Volunteer of the Year, Non-Profit Organization, Art In Business, Green Business, Young Entrepreneur, and three distinct Business Achievement categories.

The nominations for these awards come directly from you - the members of our vibrant community. Your participation ensures a diverse and representative pool of nominees, and for that, we are grateful.

Our latest Black Tie Awards Gala Event was held on May 9th, 2023. The energy, enthusiasm, and excellence showcased that night were nothing short of inspiring. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated, whether as nominees, attendees, or those who followed along from home. Your support is what makes this event so special.

As we look back at the memories we've created this year, we're already filled with anticipation for what's to come.
