The Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce held its Black Tie Awards ceremony Tuesday night, celebrating business excellence and volunteerism in the Cowichan Valley. The ceremony, held at the Chemainus Theatre, was a night of glamour and excitement as the community came together to celebrate Cowichan’s best.

The Chamber is excited to announce the 27 Finalists for the 24th Black Tie Awards, which will be presented in partnership with Island Savings.

Nominations for the Chamber’s 24th Black Tie Awards came to a close at midnight on Friday, January 31st, with 142 nominations coming in from all over the Cowichan Valley! Thank you to everyone who participated in recognizing the best in business excellence, volunteerism and customer service!

The Duncan Cowichan Chamber is pleased to announce that Denise McKinlay is the recipient of the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award and will be honoured at the Black Tie Awards at The Chemainus Theatre in May 2023.

The Duncan Cowichan Chamber will be hosting The Black Tie Awards in May, 2023 and is now accepting nominations for deserving businesses, individuals, and organizations across the Cowichan Valley.  The Black Tie Awards, now in its 23rd awards year, began as an annual event and is now held biennially.  It is the region’s most prestigious awards ceremony, recognizing business excellence and volunteerism.

 Island Savings is, once again, reprising its role as Presenting Partner for the event.
